Hey everyone! 👋🏻 After taking a much-needed break to welcome my own little one into the world, I'm thrilled to announce that I'm back and ready to start the next chapter in my journey as a birth worker. 💕 Now that I'm back, I'm excited to announce that I'll be starting my apprenticeship in midwifery! 🤱🏻This has been a dream of mine for so long, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me.

My planned home birth turned into a hospital birth because of gestational diabetes and not being able to control my fasting numbers with out medication. With the help of @midwifecourtney I was still able to have an empowering unmedicated hospital birth. Despite showing up pushing and almost having her right outside the elevator and completely freaking out the nurses and dr😂 I was able to push in a position I felt was right (hands and knees) even though they asked me a couple times to get on my back and getting to birth my placenta on my own and having them wait to cut the cord until the placenta was out.
